Welcome back!! Windchime market (a.k.a Fruin-ichi, Whindchime festival)2021 started at 20th July - 22 August 2021!!
風鈴市2021、復活の巻

Last year this event is canceled.　昨年はコロナの影響で中止となった風鈴市、今年は別の形になって開催します！
Before Covid-19, this is 5 days event inside of Heikenji temple. 　これまでは川崎大師平間寺の境内で行っていましたが、今年は仲見世通りの各店舗が風鈴を飾って販売しています。

About 300,000 people from the greater Tokyo area visit and enjoy 30,000 wind chimes among 900 varieties from all over Japan. The windchime market is one of the big events in the Kawasakidaishi areas.

But this year, the organizer and local community changed the plan and make the Windchime market on Nakamise street!

Each shop displays the various windchimes. The type and design of windchimes is different each shop.

KD tour provides the Free-Yukata dressing service if staff is available. The selection of yukata is not so many. It is just from KD tour's collection.

*memo to me: The photo of top This hydrangea yukata is made by my grandma for my mama, before my mom gets married. It means this yukata is about 40 years old. Yukata fabrics on those days are thicky cotton by nowadays, and not printed one. It is dyed by indigo and stamped.So I inherited this indigo yukata from my mama from my grandma.I hope my daughter would wear this in the future.
