[Report]by Baria free style, accessible report of Heikenji

This is article from website of baria free style and translated by Mikiho(CEO of KD tour)He visited Kawasaki Daishi Heikenji temple at 2016.

Kawasaki Daishi--It is famous for exorcism fire ceremony.I went their without doing any pre-research but i heard by someone who is known to me that in that temple entry is accessible by wheelchair.

but when i went there than i get to know that it's a accessible spot for tourists and wheelchair users can also take entry.

However , it was a weekday when i was visited that temple so that day it was very smooth to enter but may be it is difficult to enter in the time of New Year . It is top 5 rated temple of japan according to the tourists (Visitors).

Even although i knew the location of Kawasaki Daishi but still I lost for searching the disabled parking lot because there are many one way streets around that temple , so if you forgot the way it may be chances that you come out from that temple.

In particular, there are many one-way streets around Kawasaki Daishi, so if you make a few mistakes, you will soon get out of Kawasaki Daishi.

There was no way there, and I was taught by calling Kawasaki Daishi.

I entered through this gate which shows in this picture.

Even I went it lot of times through this gate but i never thought that it's a gate of Kawasaki Daishi.

Yakushiden (The hall for the buddha of healing) is in the front of the parking .

First time i went there in Yakushiden.

There is a slope here so you can enter easily. But there was no accessible toilet for the handicapped peoples.

It is about to introduce from now on.

How do you go to the main hall (Daihondou) from Yakushiden?

Map has been there on the wall.

but it is headed towards the pond.

It feels like coming out from the postcard.

Actually, it is the way to enter in the congregation hall(Shinto kaikan).

It enters from the back side of the congregation hall.

Here, slope present so no problem for the wheelchair people also.

There was a toilet for disabled people in the congregation hall.

it's clean and easy to use.

If you come out from the congregation hall than you found a way which goes towards the main hall.

You can get off the slope from the congregation hall and paved road continues until the main hall. Paved road as shown in picture.

When you arrived at the main hall, building which is situated in front of you , you have to pay money there for pray.

I was confused about that how much i have to pay there?

I was not bother to pay money there but i was thinking how much i have to pay from the top.

his time I made it 10,000 yen.

After paying the money , i headed towards the main hall.

It's safe because there were slope aside to the main hall.

There was a barley tea service at the main hall and i received 1 cup of tea before the ceremony.

You get the amulet after the ceremony for get rid of the bad luck.

On the way back, I bought Kawasaki Daishi incense sticks.

Actually, Kawasaki Daishi is famous for Kuzumochi but i didn't outside from Kawasaki daishi , so i went to the next destination without having any eating.

It takes about an hour and a half.

I just hope this year will have a lasting success.
