What is KD? It is shortened name of Kawasaki Daishi, which is the nearest sightseeing spot to Haneda International Airport in the valuable towns in Japan. It is just 20 minutes from Tokyo International Airport (HND) and has about 900 years of history. There is at least 1 cultural event held every month that attracts travelers.

Before your departure, you can experience authentic local lifestyles and cultures. I imagine that you have some questions about Japanese culture, traditions, and so on. Our program will help you better understand the answers to these questions.

The main sightseeing spot of this town is Kawasaki Daishi Heikenji Temple. It is well known for its power of warding off evil (Yakuyoke) among the people in the eastern part of Japan for over 900 years.

The uniqueness of this area comes from it being a hybrid between a tourist sightseeing spot and a place for the local residential community. You can see traditional cultural things and local lifestyles in the modern 21st century at the same time, and feel the real-life of Japan, such as local school boys and girls wearing randoseru bags, the elderly in the daycare, kindergarten children, praying, people in modern apartments, and so on.

At KD tour, we provide some cultural activities for tourists from overseas in the KD area. Some activities such as sushi-making lessons and free walking tours are special for foreign tourists, but others, such as Yoga on Tatami are with local people, and you will be joined by a local guide (English or an Indonesian speaker).
