This mikoshi parade is annual event by Wakamiya shirin and local neighborhood association of KD area. The parade starts from Wakamiya shirine and to Heikenji temple.
A mikoshi (Japanese: 神輿) is a divine palanquin (also translated as portable Shinto shrine). Shinto followers believe that it serves as the vehicle to transport a deity in Japan while moving between main shrine and temporary shrine during a festival or when moving to a new shrine. Often, the mikoshi resembles a miniature building, with pillars, walls, a roof, a veranda and a railing.--wikipedia
Mikoshi parade is event of Shirne and Local neghborhood association.
About 20 neighborhood community In KD area will join this event, and each community have own Mikoshi.
There is Mikoshi only for children also. People wearing in costumes of Mikoshi will shout and go around.
What is the most uniqueness point of this is, that Mikoshi go in to the Buddhist temple, Kawasaki Daishi Heikenji.
Mikoshi parade is Shinto's ceremony, usually the Mikoshi is going around the town and back to shrine.

If you will be around Tokyo, especially Haneda- Shinagawa, and Yokohama area (including Haneda airport flyover) at 4th August 2019, and if you want to local traditional customs, you should to visit Kawasaki Daishi area.
